Lo Wu Saddle Club Staff
Lo Wu Saddle Club have three full-time coaches and various visiting and part-time coaches.
FULL TIME COACHES
Club Manager and Senior Coach
Deborah, originally from Wales, has been at Lo Wu since 2010. She is a BHS Intermediate Stable Manager and holds the BHS Intermediate Teaching Certificate. She has competed in all of the Olympic Disciplines, and is happy coaching riders of all levels.
Head of H.R. & Administrative Director
Angelina has been teaching at Lo Wu
Saddle Club for over 10 years. She knows
the Lo Wu horses very well and teaches in
both English and Cantonese. She enjoys
teaching young riders and enthusiastic
adults and prides herself on being an all
weather instructor - rain or shine!
Luci Rose Friend - BHSAI
Luci is a BHSAI, who trained in Wales and then went on to work in Ireland. She came to Lo Wu in November 2011. She works well with all ages of rider and trains young children and teens from beginners through to competition standard.
Fiona trained and worked on
both the East and
North-West coast of Ireland. After teaching there
for 4 years, she came to Lo Wu in December 2014
to meet new riders of all Nationalities, coach in a
warmer climate, and further her career.
Yard Manager & Part Time Coach
Ray has been a part of Lo Wu
for many years and
was one of the original Lo Wu Saddle Club Supporters.
Jackie speaks both Cantonese and English, and is
very happy to help clients with their enquiries.
Aihua is our friendly face at the
front desk, happy to help with all your enquiries.
PART TIME COACHES
Jo Ealing BHSII
Jo has taught part-time at Lo Wu for many years,
she primarily coaches Pony Club and BHS students.
Tim Downes FBHS
Tim is a Fellow of the British Horse Society, which is the Highest Equestrian Coaching Qualification in the world. Tim visits Lo Wu twice each year to coach the staff and is available for private lessons.
